Talent Acquisition Team

When Work Meets its Doers

Members of the Culture and Capabilities team work on developing people, the work community and competencies. Team members make sure that work and talent meet at Posti. Their responsibilities include, among others, recruitment and employer branding, competence development and promotion of a new corporate culture.

Linda Laakso and Tuuli Yli-Jaskari act as Talent Acquisition Specialists and Inka Pirnes as Talent Acquisition Lead in Posti’s Culture and Capabilities team. Their job is to find the best talent for Posti. Kaisa Suojoki, on the other hand, works as a Learning Manager, ensuring that Posti employees can learn and develop in their work.

The team's mission is to make sure that Posti is a great place to work and an attractive employer for the best talent. When the right talent is found for the right job, everyone is happy.

“It is our job to serve applicants and provide them with good job opportunities. We can bring new abilities to Posti and also help to build the transformation of the company towards the desired direction, ”says Inka.

Work in this team is done in a good spirit, with laughter. Team members describe Posti as a development-friendly workplace with a lot of collaboration between teams. Versatile jobs and wide-ranging job opportunities are also part of the deal. Within the team the work is one with a positive and good drive without forgetting the humor.

“We have a nice and relaxed team. Sometimes we almost forget that we're really at work when it's so nice", says Tuuli, to which Linda goes on," Working in this team is easy when everyone has the same mindset to move forward. "

 Career Opportunities and Learning New Things

The positive culture of Posti is also reflected in the opportunities for employees to grow and move forward. Kaisa and Tuuli got new challenges very quickly after starting their career at Posti: Kaisa was offered a new role after five months, and Tuuli took a step forward after seven months of work.

Posti has a wide range of on-going projects and development initiatives and by participating in these one can develop oneself in totally new areas. For example, in the past year, Tuuli has been developing her skills in implementing a new IT system.

“The Workday project has really taught a lot. At first I did not know anything about this topic and I have had to step out of my comfort zone, but the learning curve has been awesome, "Tuuli explains.

The range of learning and development opportunities is extensive in the company that employs over 22,000 professionals across Finland. By looking forward and keeping your eye on the future, you can grow professionally in areas you couldn't even dream of.
