Transportation College continuously provides drivers professional further education in a wide range of training programs. Part of such programs are legally compulsory for all drivers needing continuously renewed professional driver qualification, e.g. the preventing driving training. In addition to this the programs include training in occupational safety, load securing, transportation of dangerous goods, customer service and training in the services provided by Posti. Also, the drivers' own occupational health and well-being are part of the training program. 

When needed, new training programs for the drivers will be approved with Traficom. Currently such a new training program is offered for the drivers in the field of installing home appliances and home entertainment equipment which has first been transported to the customer’s home. Naturally, such Transportation College trainings contain a lot of practical exercises which is always seen very useful by the drivers.

In addition to driver training, Transportation College also organizes professional training for other Posti employees working closely with transportation.  when necessary: forklift safety, awareness of transportation of dangerous goods, and safety adviser training. Also training in customer needs and their changes are a regular part of Transportation College’s programs. Depending on the contents the training forms vary from face-to-face to online training and courses.
